Truss rod adjustments should never be made simply to set the action. I like my necks pretty straight and then go from there. Once a bit is cut properly for your preferred string gauge then that is taken care of so any further adjustments I make at the bridge.

l'm going to purchase a dual-actión truss rod fór the clarinet I'meters working on and has been wondering if anyone has experience with both the standard StewMac scorching rod and their reduced profile verison.
I suppose the regular rod is usually much easier to change since it offers a bigger lever limb constructed in, and thé low-profile ród most likely is less effective because of it't smaller handle arm rest. What are your encounters? If you have used additional brands than StewMac, chime in as well, since the brand name doesn't really matter.
